The area north of Portland beginning about Yarmouth or Freeport and extending “down east” to Boothbay Harbor is home to hundreds of miles of coastline on a myriad of peninsulas and islands.  It is a popular region for locals commuting to Portland for work as well as seasonal residents vacationing on or near the water. Bath is home to Bath Iron Works, one only two Navy ship building contractors in the US. Brunswick is a home to a former Air Force base turned general aviation facility and industrial park as well as Bowdoin College.  Residents enjoy the authentic Maine experience combined with clean air, ample shopping, night life and services.
